What is the relationship between us, paper and wasps?

This luminous sculpture intertwines recycled paper with the social wasps biology and science communication.

The research originated from the intention of offering a voyage through paper history and a wider vision of the social wasp’s universe present in Italy with the possibility of discovering some good practices for a more harmonious coexistence between us.

These creatures are among the least loved insects, when in reality they have an immense value for the functioning of ecosystems: they are pollinators, they are incredible pest control agents in agriculture and gardens, as well as marvelous architects.
