Two months of fieldwork alongside two biologists, working on the interspecific relationship between two social insects: Partamona testacea (stingless bee) and Paraponera clavata (ant). The role not only included research but documenting the expedition, the nests found, and species; in addition, a drawing has been published in the science journal Insectes Sociaux.

Location: | Tarapoto (San Martin region, Perù), in the lands of the Urku Estudios Amazónicos centre. The study area embraced 13 hectares of tropical rainforest in the buffer area of the Área de conservación regional Cordillera Escalera. |
